School Of Rock Announces Broadway Closure

Andrew Lloyd Webber's musical School Of Rock has announced that it will play its final performance at the Wintergarden Theatre on 20 January 2019.

Justin Collette with the kids of "School of Rock" (Photo: Matthew Murphy) When School Of Rock closes at the Wintergarden Theatre on 20 January 2019 the show will have played 1307 performances and 31 previews. Produced and composed by Andrew Lloyd Webber, the musical is currently still running in London's West End and is undertaking a US national tour with a production opening in Melbourne, Australia in October 2018 which will then tour Asia.

School Of Rock Broadway opened on 6 December 2015. It was nominated for four Tony Awards but did not win any.
