Guest reviewer Joe Holmes joins us to provide further reviews from the Colchester Fringe 2022.

With so many shows to review at this year's Colchester Fringe, we asked journalism students from the University of Essex to cast their critical eye over the weekend’s offerings!

Failed ( 5 Stars) Failed by Colchester’s own Headgate Young Company was a sentimental and witty tale of teenage Tyler desperate to pass her driving test and come to terms with the loss of a loved one. The slick and engaging production evoked joyous laughter and heartfelt tears from the audience. We were in on the journey, willing these realistic characters to succeed in their lives. This thoughtful, relatable, well-developed and brilliantly acted play showcases the best of what young theatre has to offer. Read further Colchester Fringe reviews here
