Nadia Fall Appointed Artistic Director of Stratford East

Nadia Fall. Photo: Michael Shelford Nadia Fall is to take up the position of Artistic Director of Theatre Royal Stratford East taking over from Kerry Michael on 1 January 2018.
Nadia Fall is currently Associate Director at the National Theatre. Her directing credits include the Hir (Bush Theatre), R and D (Hampstead Theatre), The Suicide, Our Country’s Good, Dara, Hymn, The Doctor’s Dilemma (National Theatre), Chewing Gum Dreams, Home – as writer and director (NT Shed), Way Upstream (Chichester Festival Theatre) and Hobson’s Choice (Regent’s Park Open Air Theatre).
Nadia Fall said today, “I am absolutely thrilled to have been asked to take on the role of Artistic Director at Theatre Royal Stratford East. It is one of the most beautiful houses steeped in an incredible theatre history that goes back to the great Joan Littlewood.
I cannot wait to lead an exciting new chapter that captures the energy of a rapidly growing Stratford and serves its vibrant community as well as audiences across London, building on the dedicated work of Kerry Michael.”
