It's great that the track from the Stephen Sondheim / George Furth musical about relationships and "the little things you do together" sees the company collaborating in isolation as they patiently wait for their Broadway opening night. The production began its previews on 2 March 2020 and was subject to the lockdown of Broadway before it actually opened.
The cast of Company on Broadway includes Tony winners Katrina Lenk and Patti LuPone as Bobbie and Joanne, Greg Hildreth as Peter, Matt Doyle as Jamie, Christopher Fitzgerald as David, Christopher Sieber as Harry, Jennifer Simard as Sarah, Rashidra Scott as Susan, Terence Archie as Larry, Etai Benson as Paul, Nikki Renée Daniels as Jenny, Claybourne Elder as Andy, Kyle Dean Massey as Theo, and Bobby Conte Thornton as P.J together with Kathryn Allison, Stanley Bahorek, Britney Coleman, John Arthur Greene, Javier Ignacio, Anisha Nagarajan, Tally Sessions, and Matt Wall.
Marianne Elliot's new production features a gender swap of several characters. As we wait for Broadway's re-opening and Company's official opening enjoy the title song from the show.
It’s Bobbie’s 35th birthday party, and all her friends keep asking, Why isn’t she married? Why can’t she find the right man and isn’t it time to settle down and start a family? As Bobbie searches for answers, she discovers why being single, being married, and being alive in 21st-Century New York could drive a person crazy.
Company should resume at the Bernard B Jacobs Theatre on Broadway having transferred from the Gielgud Theatre in London's West End. A cast album of the Company London cast of the new production has been released. COMPANY TICKETS BROADWAY Join our Mailing List
