Cast announced for UK premiere of Afterglow at Southwark Playhouse

Casting and creatives have been announced for the UK premiere of Afterglow which opens at the Southwark Playhouse in June 2019.

Photo: Darren Bell Premiering in the UK after extended run Off-Broadway where it sold more than 23,000 seats in a 69 seat theatre grossing over $1 million, Afterglow will make its UK premiere from 5 June to 20 July 2019 at Southwark Playhouse. Afterglow is written by S. Asher Gelman.
Josh and Alex, a married couple in an open relationship, invite Darius to share their bed for one night. When a new intimate connection begins to form, all three men must come head to head with one another’s notions of love, intimacy, and commitment.
The cast of Afterglow features Jesse Fox (Hard Feelings, Finborough) as Darius, Sean Hart (Coriolanus, Titus Andronicus RSC) and Danny Mahoney (White Fang, Park Theatre) as Alex.
Afterglow is directed by Tom O'Brien, set and costumes design by Libby Todd, lighting design by David Howe, sound by David Gregory, movement director by Lee Crowley, casting by Anne Vosser and general management by David Adkin Limited.
Please note that admission is restricted to ages 16+. Afterglow contains strong language and nudity.
