Avenue Q lockdown parody featuring original London cast released

The original cast of London's Avenue Q has released a great parody called I Wish It Were Life Before Lockdown which is now available on You Tube.

Whilst in lockdown isolation Julie Atherton, Jon Robyns, Ann Harada, Simon Lipkin and Sion Lloyd this great Avenue Q Parody I Wish It Were Life Before Lockdown. Avenue Q had its UK premiere in 2006 in the West End at the Noël Coward Theatre (formerly the Albery Theatre). The production ran 1,179 performances through March 2009, then reopened in June 2009 at the Gielgud Theatre. After a further 327 performances, the show moved in March 2010 to the Wyndham's Theatre, where it closed on October 30, 2010, after a five-year run. There have subsequently been four UK tours.

Avenue Q featured music and lyrics by Robert Lopez and Jeff Marx and book by Jeff Whitty. The show won Best Musical, Book, and Score at the 2004 Tony Awards. The show was directed by Jason Moore with puppets designed and built by original cast member Rick Lyon.
