Angels In America Announces Broadway Transfer

It was announced today that the National Theatre's production of Tony Kushner's Angels In America: A Gay Fantasia will transfer to Broadway's Neil Simon Theatre for a limited eighteen week engagement from February 23, 2018.
Marianne Elliott's new production opened at the National Theatre earlier this yea to rave reviews. The production is presented in two halves Part One - Millenium Approaches and Part Two - Perestroika.
Angels in America: A Gay Fantasia on Broadway will star two-time Tony Award-winner Nathan Lane and Academy Award nominee Andrew Garfield. The production will also feature original National Theatre cast members Susan Brown, Denise Gough, Amanda Lawrence, James McArdle and Nathan Stewart-Jarrett with other casting announced shortly.
When it first premiered, Angels in America won the Pulitzer Prize for Drama, seven Tony Awards, and the New York Drama Critics Circle Award.
Angels in America on Broadway will be produced by Tim Levy (Director, NT America) and Jordan Roth (President - Jujamcyn Theatres).
