Aan de schrijfstijl ligt het zeker niet. Frayn weet situaties en ideeën razendsnel en gevat neer te zetten. Zijn mensenkennis en inzicht in onze eigenaardigheden – de zaken die ons boeien of juist irriteren – is indrukwekkend groot, en er is vrijwel niets waar hij geen komische draai aan kan geven. Van de zes acteurs beschikt Nina Wadia als enige over het rasechte instinct van een farceur; met speels gemak zet ze een reeks totaal verschillende personages neer, die stuk voor stuk bruisen van de excentrieke energie. Sinds 1999 uw vertrouwde bron voor het grootste theaternieuws uit Groot-Brittannië.
