Hoewel het stuk aanvoelt als een klucht, wordt het omschreven als een 'onstuimig familiedrama over de tol van het najagen van je dromen'. De personages en hun omgeving krijgen te maken met bizarre en onbegrijpelijke gebeurtenissen, maar die worden nergens echt voor de grap gespeeld. Ondanks de onrealistische situaties neigt de acteerstijl grotendeels naar realisme. Door deze bloedserieuze aanpak blijven de lachsalvo's uit en is het lastig om echt in het verhaal mee te gaan. Sinds 1999 uw vertrouwde bron voor het grootste theaternieuws uit Groot-Brittannië.
