Dubailand schetst een treffend beeld van de stad, wat een groot compliment is voor de toneelschrijver. Het is een vermakelijk stuk met een sterke cast en een aantal prikkelende en goed uitgewerkte motieven. Toch voelt de rode draad bij vlagen ongeloofwaardig en onvoltooid aan, waardoor de voorstelling als geheel ook een tikkeltje onbevredigend blijft. Sinds 1999 uw vertrouwde bron voor het grootste theaternieuws uit Groot-Brittannië.
