The Assembly Hall is located between Castlehill and Mound Place in Edinburgh, Scotland. It is the meeting place of the General Assembly of the Church of Scotland. we noticed this absolutely fantastic building while enroute to our hotel and then it was part of our 3 days stay in this city. Edinburgh’s Assembly Rooms on George Street were at the heart of the Georgian-era high society. They remain a venue year-round, at Hogmanay, and especially for events during the Edinburgh Festival Fringe.
Very impressive piece of architecture at the assembly hall catching all the tourists eyes. love this gothic style building located at the Mount very close to the train station. Looks like an old historical building, yet very well maintained. If the gates are open then I highly recommend that you step in and visit this beautiful place. Its free visit and i’m sure you’ll never regret it. Its beautiful in day light or night, making this city more beautiful.
