Dopo la tournée nel West End, The Importance Of Being Earnest di Oscar Wilde partirà per un tour nel Regno Unito verso la fine del 2015.
Con un cast che include Nigel Havers, Sian Philips e Christine Kavanagh, in scena come The Bunbury Company Of Players, questa nuova produzione è diretta da Lucy Bailey, con scene e costumi di William Dudley e materiale aggiuntivo scritto da Simon Brett.
Tra le opere più celebri di Wilde, The Importance Of Being Earnest mette alla berlina le ipocrisie dell’Inghilterra vittoriana, seguendo due scapoli che si inventano identità diverse per corteggiare due giovani donne in età da marito.
Da notare che non si tratta della produzione di prossima programmazione nel West End con David Suchet.
