Bat Out Of Hell to play Dominion Theatre London in 2018

Photo: Specular Following critically acclaimed seasons in both Manchester and London in 2017, Jim Steinman's Bat Out Of Hell - the Musical will be returning to London in 2018 with performances starting at the Dominion Theatre on 2 April. Tickets are now on sale.

Bat Out Of Hell - the musical is currently wowing audiences in Toronto where it is playing until 7 January 2018.

The new London season of the show is expected to star Andrew Polec and Christina Bennington as romantic leads Strat and Raven with further casting to be announced.

Jim Steinman’s Bat Out Of Hell – The Musical is a romantic adventure about rebellious youth and passionate love, set against the backdrop of a post-cataclysmic city adrift from the mainland.  Strat, the forever young leader of The Lost, has fallen for Raven, daughter of Falco, the tyrannical, ruler of Obsidian.

Meat Loaf's album Bat Out Of Hell is one of the best selling albums in history with total sales in excess of 50 million copies. It was followed up with some 16 years later with Bat Out Of Hell II: Back Into Hell.

Bat Out Of Hell - the Musical features songs from the albums including You Took The Words Right Out Of My Mouth, Two Out Of Three Ain't Bad, Bat Out Of Hell, I Would Do Anything For Love (But I Won't Do That) as well as two previously unreleased songs What Part Of My Body Hurts The Most and Not Allowed To Love.

Bat Out Of Hell - the Musical has book, music and lyrics by Jim Steinman, direction by Jay Scheib, choreography by Emma Porter, musical supervision and additional arrangements by Michael Reed, set design by Jon Bausor, costume design by Jon Bausor and Meentje Nielsen, video design by Finn Ross, lighting design by Patrick Woodroffe, sound design by Gareth Owen, orchestrations by Steve Sidwell and musical direction by Robert Emery.
