Y así llegamos a la culminación de la sección de ópera contemporánea del Festival Grimeborn, con un programa doble que incluye The Medium de Peter Maxwell Davies y The Wanton Sublime, una nueva obra de Tarik O'Regan con libreto de Anna Rabinowitz. Robert Shaw dirigió ambas óperas y la Orpheus Sinfonia acompañada por Andrew Griffiths condujo la segunda mitad.
