Claudia Morris stars in Secret Love To celebrate the 90th birthday of Hollywood legend Doris Day, Claudia Morris will appear in Secret Love - an intimate evening of reminiscence and a celebration of Day's extraordinary life. Iconic in so many ways, Day's career spanned the big band era and Hollywood stardom, saw her face financial disaster, domestic tragedy, succeed with a TV comeback and tirelessly campaign for animal rights. With stage credits including Camelot (Loverpool Playhouse), Guys 'n Dolls (Cheltenham Everyman) and Buddy (Original Cast- Victoria Palace), Claudia Morris released two acclaimed Jazz albums. The first tour of Secret Love ran to acclaim last autumn and now returns due to popular demand with 26 dates nationwide in 2015. Accompanied by a live band and actors, this show is unique and unmissable, and includes such evergreen hits as...‘Que Sera Sera', ‘Sentimental Journey', ‘It's Magic' & ‘Perhaps Perhaps', as well as some rare, poignant songs that show the many sides of this intriguing icon. To accompany the show, a collection of songs from the production have been captured in the studio and released as an album also entitled ‘Secret Love'. The album is due to be released in February. Secret Love is written and directed by Phil Wilmott and is under the musical direction of Malcolm Edmonstone.
