I recently watched The Hunger Games in the theatre in London, and I thought it was excellent. The stage adaptation brought a fresh intensity to the story while staying true to the heart of Suzanne Collins’ original. The set design was incredibly creative, making the arena feel immersive and dramatic without relying on film-style effects. The performances were powerful, especially the portrayal of Katniss Everdeen, who captured both the strength and vulnerability of the character. The tension throughout the Games was gripping, and the live theatre setting made certain scenes feel even more immediate and emotional than the film version. Overall, it was a thrilling and moving production that did justice to the story. I would definitely recommend it to fans of the books or films, as well as anyone who enjoys high-energy, thought-provoking theatre.

Came to see the hunger games today and popped in early to see what merchandise to buy as it was my daughter’s birthday. We were welcomed inside even though it was early and got into a lovely conversation with Iris and Josh about the Hunger Games. They were so lovely and clearly really enjoyed chatting to people so please say thank you to these two for their amazing service! They even gave us tips on where to get lunch! The show was amazing and visually stunning! All of the actors were simply brilliant and the staging was awesome too. Thanks for a wonderful day out.

This is a fantastically constructed theatre, feels spacey and not to crowded. Could do with an additional few toilets but the wait wasn't too long. I went and saw Hunger Games, absolutely brilliant! The first half was better than the second, the whole thing is very in keeping with the book, obviously they change a few minor things. Katniss was brilliant, she should take up long distance running, she must have covered several miles during the performance! Lines were always very clear, top job! Haymitch, what a fantastic drunk! Effie brilliant! I could end up listing the whole cast, they were all great! I loved how they were able to achieve something the film couldn't which was the sheer contrast between the struggles of the games and the almost nonchalant disregard by the elite as they danced and drank! Fantastically represented! I won't say anymore to avoid spoilers! But would strongly recommend!

I attended a show that started at 2:30 pm and finished around 5:05 pm, with a 20-minute interval. During the break, I was genuinely impressed by how well the restroom queues were organised. It might sound funny, but at large events with so many people, this really matters and was handled very smoothly. The production itself was absolutely beautiful. The fire, the special effects and the overall scale were something I wasn’t used to at all. It was my first time experiencing a show like this, and I loved every part of it. I was seated in District 3, on the very last row, and the view was still excellent. Overall, I highly recommend this show. I went alone and did not regret it for a second. Even if you don’t have anyone to go with, go anyway. You won’t regret it.
