Wicked Celebrates 4000 Performances in London

International mega-musical Wicked played its landmark 4000th performance today at 2.30pm at the Apollo Victoria Theatre. Wicked is currently the 9th longest-running show in the West End and the 19th longest-running show in West End theatre history. Wicked has now been seen by over 7 million people in London and by over 50 million people world-wide. Wicked Extends Booking Period To November 2016

Wicked, the multi-award winning musical has announced that it will open it’s 20th ticket booking period on Monday with over 500,000 new tickets going on sale for performances until Saturday 5 November 2016. Wicked has been seen by nearly 7 million people in London alone and recently played its 3750th performance at the Apollo Victoria Theatre. As the show approaches its 10th anniversary, Wicked is set to become the 9th longest running show in the West End following the final performance of The 39 Steps this weekend. Wicked is now also the 19th longest-running show in West End theatre history.
