Sierra Boggess withdraws from BBC Proms concert version of West Side Story

Sierra Boggess withdraws from playing Maria in the BBC Proms concert version of West Side Story. Sierra Boggess has announced her withdrawal from the BBC Proms concert version of West Side Story by Leonard Bernstein. Sierra was due to have played Maria in the one-off concert event at the Royal Albert Hall this summer. The evening is to feature Ross Lekites as Tony and be conducted by John Wilson leading the John Wilson Orchestra, together with students from the Mountview Academy and Arts Ed Theatre School. Everyone’s favourite dance show Strictly Come Dancing  is back in 2018 with 30 supersized spectacular arenas shows across the country announced today. Pre-sale for the tour starts at 9am tomorrow morning (20 September 2017). See tour dates below. The 2018 tour will be hosted by Strictly’s reigning champion Ore Oduba. Joining Ore on stage will be Strictly judges Craig Revel Horwood (who also directs the show for the eighth year) and Bruno Tonioli, together with the many celebrities and professional dancers from the highly anticipated 15th season of BBC’s Strictly Come Dancing. The West End’s hottest fundraiser have announced that their theme this year is West End Bares: Ruby Strippers!
