On the 24 May 2017, the new cast of Harry Potter and the Cursed Child take over from their wonderful wizarding predecessors at London’s Palace Theatre and we are delighted to bring you these first look studio portraits of the shows new leads by Charlie Gray. Please welcome Jamie Glover as Harry Potter, Emma Lowndes as his wife Ginny Potter alongside Theo Ancient as their son Albus Potter; Thomas Aldridge as Ron Weasley, Rakie Ayola as Hermione Granger andHelen Aluko as their daughter Rose Granger-Weasley; and James Howard as Draco Malfoy and Samuel Blenkin as his son Scorpius Malfoy. Since premiering in June 2016 at the Palace Theatre, the show has won 22 major theatre awards. Producers have announced that Danny Mac has been cast as Joe Gillis in the forthcoming UK and Ireland tour of Andrew Lloyd Webber’s Sunset Boulevard alongside Ria Jones who is playing Norma Desmond. Most recently Danny Mac captured the nation’s hearts and received overwhelming support during his incredible time on BBC1’s Strictly Come Dancing making it all the way to the final. This month he stars as Gabey in On The Town at Regent’s Park Open Air Theatre. His other musical theatre credits include Wicked and Legally Blonde. Stockard Channing Returns To The West End In Apologia

Broadway and Hollywood star Stockard Channing is to return to the London stage this Summer to star in Apologia by Alexi Kaye Campbell directed by Jamie Lloyd. Apologia will run from 29 July to 18 November 2017. Apologia will be presented at Trafalgar Studios and will mark Channing’s first West End appearance in over a decade. The Tony and Emmy Award-winning actor is best known for her performances in The West Wing, The Good Wife, her Golden Globe and Oscar nominated role in Six Degrees Of Separation and the iconic role of Rizzo in Grease. Curve’s Adrian Mole musical comes to the Menier

The Secret Diary Of Adrian Mole

A new production of Sue Townsend’s The Secret Diary of Adrian Mole Aged 13 ¾ – The Musical is to be staged at London’s Menier Chocolate Factory in association with Curve in Leicester. The musical, with music and lyrics by Pippa Cleary and book and lyrics by Jake Brunger, has undergone a period of further development since its original production at Curve in 2015. Directed by Luke Sheppard, the show will run at the Menier from July 26 to September 9, with previews from July 14. Casting is yet to be announced. Set in 1980s Leicester and based on Sue Townsend’s 1982 best-seller, the musical follows the daily dramas of Adrian’s adolescent life, with dysfunctional parents, a school bully and an unruly pimple on his chin, topped off by falling for new girl Pandora.
