Cast Announced For Pink Mist at the Bush Theatre

Pink Mist, a play about the mental and physical scars of war will open at the Bush Theatre in January 2016 ahead of a run at the Bristol Old Vic. The acclaimed play by Owen Sheers will feature five of the six original cast members from the play’s 2015 run. Phil Dunster, Peter Edwards, Rebecca Hamilton, Zara Ramm and Alex Stedman return with Rebecca Killick joining the company. Pink Mist tells the story of three young Bristol men deployed to Afghanistan. Returning to the women in their lives who must now share the physical and psychological aftershocks of their service, Arthur, Hads and Taff find their journey home is their greatest battle. The producers of Harry Potter And The Cursed Child have announced that Jamie Parker, Noma Dumezweni and Paul Thornley will take on the roles of Harry, Hermoine and Ron respectively. J.K. Rowling said: “I’m so excited with the choice of casting for Harry Potter and the Cursed Child. I can’t wait to see Jamie, Noma and Paul bring the adult Harry, Hermione and Ron to life on stage next summer.” Harry Potter and the Cursed Child is one play presented in two parts. Both parts are intended to be seen in order on the same day (matinee and evening), or on two consecutive evenings. Producers have announced that after 4600 performances, Billy Elliot will close at the Victoria Palace Theatre on 9 April 2016 to allow for planned theatre refurbishments. The closure will co-incide with the shows eleventh birthday, with the show having been seen by over 5.25 million people in London and nearly 11 million people worldwide. Billy Elliot has grossed over $800 million worldwide and is the winner of over 80 theatre awards internationally. Grey Gradens is based on the iconic documentary of the same name with music by Scott Frankel, book by Doug Wright and lyrics by Michael Korie, which tells the story of the spectacular ruse and fall of Jacqueline Kennedy Onassis’s aunt and cousin.
