The nominations for the Olivier Awards 2015 with MasterCard will be announced by internationally acclaimed actors Lesley Manville and James McAvoy on Monday 9 March at Rosewood London, and simultaneously live streamed to audiences worldwide at 12:00 GMT (08:00 USA EDT) at www.olivierawards.com Lesley Manville, winner of the Olivier Award for Best Actress in 2014 for her searing performance in Ghosts, and multiple Olivier Award nominated James McAvoy, currently wowing audiences in The Ruling Class at the Trafalgar Studios, will be joined by some of London’s leading stage personalities and industry figures to celebrate the achievements of London theatre in 2014/15. The Society of London Theatre (SOLT) has declared applications open in its annual search for theatregoing members of the public to join the expert panel of professional and public judges of the Olivier Awards 2016 with MasterCard – the most prestigious awards in London theatre. This is a unique chance to spend a year watching some of the best theatre in the world and judging the shows, before capping off the experience by attending the 2016 awards ceremony and after-show party to mingle with the stars of the London stage. This year’s judging period starts on 26 February 2015 and runs for approximately one year. Panellists are sought across four categories: Theatre, Affiliate (smaller non-West End London theatres), Opera and Dance.
