Casting Announced As Titanic Returns

Book now for Titanic at Charing Cross Theatre

As previously announced Thom Southerland’s award-winning production of Titanic will be returning to London for a limited season at the Charing Cross Theatre. In the cast of 20, eight of the originals are back aboard: Scarlett Courtney, Matthew Crowe, Sion Lloyd, Shane McDaid, Philip Rham, Dudley Rogers, Victoria Serra and Judith Street. They are joined by: David Bardsley, Alistair Barron, Helena Blackman, Scott Cripps, James Gant, Luke George, Douglas Hansell, Rob Houchen, Claire Machin, Jessica Paul, Peter Prentice, Dom Simpson. First seen at Southwark Playhouse, Thom’s production has now also played major theatres in Japan and Canada. Thom Southerland Appointed Artistic Director of Charing Cross Theatre

Thom Sutherland appointed artistic director if Charing Cross Theatre

It was announced this morning that Thom Southerland has been appointed as artistic director of Charing Cross Theatre. He has announced his first season of four musicals which will be kicked off by an encore season of his award winning production of Titanic which was originally produced at Southwark Playhouse in 2013 by Danielle Tarento. Tarento will now join with Steven M Levy, Sean Sweeney and Vaughan Williams to co-produce the entire Charing Cross Season. The rest of the Charing Cross season will comprise productions of Radio Times, Ragtime and Death Takes A Holiday. The best aspect of this production is the musicianship on display from the gifted Dean Austin and the four members of his band who, with piano, accordion, guitar, bass and percussion, create the gorgeous soundscape for Brel’s work.
