Andrew Lloyd Webber’s  Tony and Olivier Award-nominated musical The Woman In White is to recieve its first ever revival at London’s Charing Cross Theatre directed by Thom Southerland. Tickets are now on sale. The Woman in White recieved its West End premiere in 2004 at the Palace Theatre. Now Andrew Lloyd Webber and David Zippel have revised their original work to refresh the storytelling for a new generation of theatregoers. Based on Wilkie Colins’ haunting Victorian thriller, The Woman In White is a tempestuous tale of love, betrayal and greed.   The Old Laundry Theatre have announced that their upcoming revival of Alan Ayckbourn and Andrew LLoyd Webber’s musica By Jeeves will star Bill Champion and Nadim Naaman. This will be Alan Ayckbourn’s first revival in over 20 years of this jocular musical – from Broadway to Bowness! Producers have announced that Danny Mac has been cast as Joe Gillis in the forthcoming UK and Ireland tour of Andrew Lloyd Webber’s Sunset Boulevard alongside Ria Jones who is playing Norma Desmond. Most recently Danny Mac captured the nation’s hearts and received overwhelming support during his incredible time on BBC1’s Strictly Come Dancing making it all the way to the final. Regent’s Park Open Air Theatre have announced that Declan Bennett (Jesus), Tyrone Huntley (Judas), David Thaxton (Pilate) and Peter Caulfield (Herod) will reprise their roles in Andrew Lloyd Webber and Tim Rice’s Jesus Christ Superstar when it returns this year. The show which was a sell-out last year went on to win the Evening Standard Award for Best Musical and the Olivier Award for Best Musical Revival. It also received a further five Olivier Award nominations, for Best Theatre Choreography, Best Lighting, Best Sound, Outstanding Achievement in Music and Best Actor in a Musical (for Tyrone Huntley). The production opens at the Lyric Opera of Chicago in April 2018. Mel C Joins School Of Rock Cast For Surprise Performance

Following last night’s performance of Andrew Lloyd Webber’s School Of Rock at the New London Theatre, Mel C joined the cast on stage and surprised the audience with a performance of the Spice Girls hit Wannabe. The audience who had given the show a standing ovation stayed on their feet for this special performance which brought the house down. Based on the iconic film starring Jack Black, School Of Rock has just announced it’s third booking extension with tickets now available until 14 January 2018.  The Broadway production of School Of Rock is now in its second year and continues to play to full Houses at the Wintergarden Theatre.
