Theatre 503’s Artistic Director Paul Robinson has just announced its Autumn season for 2015. The company promotes quality new writing which is “game-changing, relevant, surprising, mischievous, visually thrilling and theatrical.” The Autumn Season is as follow:- And Then Come the Nightjars (2nd – 26th September) And Then Come the Nightjars charts one farm’s struggle to survive the march of history. Fierce with rage and achingly tender in turn, the play is a story of enduring friendship and a requiem for rural England. And Then Come the Nightjars marks Theatre503’s first co-production with Bristol Old Vic. Big Sean, Mikey and Me, a darkly comic one-man show written and performed by Edinburgh-born actor Ruaraidh Murray and directed by Paul Robinson, will have its London debut in 2015, playing as part of the Vault Festival from 4 – 8 February. Big Sean, Mikey and Me is the story of Ruaraidh, his imaginary friend Sean Connery and his childhood pal, rough diamond, Mikey and their adventures through the streets of Edinburgh that tourist guides omit… Big Sean, Mikey and Me had great success at the Edinburgh Festival Fringe 2012, with a sell-out run and five -star reviews.
