Producer David King has today announced the cancellation of the Thoroughly Modern Millie UK tour that starred Hayley Tamaddon.

Thoroughly Modern Millie UK Tour

The UK Tour of Thoroughly Modern Millie has today been cancelled.

The following statementwas issued by David King Productions, producer of the tour.

"We are extremely sorry to have to announce the cancellation of the UK tour of Thoroughly Modern Millie.

This has been caused by lower ticket sales than expected, which in turn has put the company producing the show  in financial difficulties and they are no longer able to continue with the tour.   The show was wonderful, and received excellent  reviews as it toured the UK, but despite this, ticket sales were not strong enough to maintain the viability of the show.  Our thanks go out to the brilliant cast of the show, who sang and danced their hearts out to bring Thoroughly Modern Millie to audiences all over the country.  Sadly, and regretfully, the show is now cancelled.

We extremely sorry for the inconvenience and disappointment this cancellation will cause everyone who was planning on seeing the show."

The tour cancellation affects seasons in Bradford, Darlington, Southend, Wolverhampton, Worthing and Jersey.

Thoroughly Modern Millie was directed and choreographed by Racky Plews.
