Rent which celebrates friendship and community at a time when lives were threatened by another virus resonates even more strongly given the happenings of past weeks.

The entire cast took part in this special version of Seasons of Love. Appearing in the video are Billy Cullum, Bobbie Little, Christina Modestou, Harrison Clark, Javar Parker, Jenny O'Leary, Jordan Laviniere, Joshua Dever, Katie Bradley, Kevin Yates, Layton Williams, Lucie Jones, Oliver Bingham, Philippa Stefani, Raffaella Covino, Ross Hunter, Ryan O'Gorman and Shanay Holmes.

The video was recorded observing lockdown rules and with all of the cast contributing remotely. The cast are raising funds for the NHS and Acting For Others.

Rent caught the zeitgeist of the eighties winning the Pulitzer Prize for Best Drama, four Tony Awards eventually running for 12 years on Broadway and being performed on a continuous basis around the world since that time.
