In a statement from producers Hairspray West End announced:-

Unfortunately, members of the Hairspray company are continuing to self-isolate due to a small number of isolated positive cases of Covid-19 within the company. To ensure that we are adhering to the strictest of protocols, this means that all performances are cancelled up to and including Sunday 18 July. Our next performance will be the evening performance on Tuesday 20 July. We want to reassure all of our audiences that due to the strict processes we have in place at the London Coliseum, no registered cases will have come into contact with anyone visiting the venue and we are confident that we have adhered to all the required health and safety requirements. The safety of our customers remains our number one priority.

It was also announced that Michael Ball will now play the role of Edna on 20 July.
