Hugo Bolton, Robert Boulter, Andrew Burnap, Hubert Burton, John Benjamin Hickey, Paul Hilton, Samuel H Levine, Syrus Lowe, Michael Marcus, Vanessa Redgrave, Kyle Soller and Michael Walters have all remained with the ensemble. They are joined by Jack Riddiford instead of original cast member Luke Thallon.
Matthew Lopez's play, directed by Stephen Daldry, is being produced by Sonia Friedman, Tom Kirdahy and Hunter Arnold for a strictly limited run at the Noël Coward Theatre from 21 September 2018, with opening performances on 13 October, booking through to 19 January 2019. The world premiere at London's Young Vic Theatre from March to May this year ran for a sold-out engagement and opened to huge acclaim.
Inspired by EM Forster's classic novel Howards End, it is set in 21st-century New York and follows the turbulent lives of a group of young gay men, examining the legacy of the previous generation who lived through the peak of the AIDS crisis.
David Lan, who programmed the original production when he was artistic director of the Young Vic, is executive producer of the West End transfer.
