The Tony Awards 2023 – Full Winners List

The Tony Awards 2023 were held last night at the United Palace in Washington Heights hosted by Ariana DeBose with Kimberly Akimbo and Leopoldstadt winning the evening’s two main awards.

Kimberly Akimbo lead the tally at the Tony Awards 2023 winning five of the coveted awards including Best Musical. After an acclaimed season in the West End Tom Stoppard’s Leopoldstadt won four Tony’s including Best Play, tying for second in the overall tally with the musical Some Like It Hot.

Jodie Comer in her first professional stage role repeated her Olivier Award win as Leading Actress in a Play for Prima Facie whilst J. Harrison Ghee and Alex Newell became the first out nonbinary actors to win in their categories.

The Tony Awards 2023 were held despite a Writers Guild of America strike which saw the awards presented without the traditional opening number with writers encouraged to pre-record their acceptance speeches.
