Saving Jason Premieres At Park Theatre
Peter Quilter’s new dark comedy Saving Jason opens at the Park Theatre this week. The play will run from 2 November to 3 December 2016. This new play from the two-time Olivier Award-nominated writer of the West End/Broadway hits Over The Rainbow and Glorious! will be directed by Steven Dexter. Saving Jason is set in a 1996 suburban household, where Trevor and Linda continue to struggle with their rebellious teenage son, Jason. In a moment of madness, they hatch a plan to change his lifestyle of midnight raves, suspicious friends and Ecstasy tablets. By staging a fake funeral for Jason in the family living room, Trevor and Linda hope their bleak vision of their son’s future will change his hedonistic ways.
