Producers Jeffrey Seller and Cameron Mackintosh announced today that Hamilton London would extend its booking period to Saturday 30 March 2019.
Tickets go on sale on Monday 29 January 2018 at noon for a new booking period for Hamilton which will extend the current booking period until 15 December 2018.

Previews have started for the London production of the musical theatre phenomena that is Hamilton. Hamilton opens the newly rebuilt and restored Victoria Palace Theatre on 21 December 2017. Hamilton is the story of America’s Founding Father Alexander Hamilton, an immigrant from the West Indies who became George Washington’s right-hand man during the Revolutionary War and helped shape the very foundations of the America we know today. The score blends hip-hop, jazz, blues, rap, R&B and Broadway – the story of America then, as told by America now. Producers have today announced the names of the complete cast of Hamilton London which opens at the Victoria Palace Theatre in December. The West End cast comprises Christine Allado (Peggy Schuyler/Maria Reynolds), Rachelle Ann Go (Eliza Hamilton), Tarinn Callender (Hercules Mulligan/James Madison), Michael Jibson (King George), Rachel John (Angelica Schuyler), Jason Pennycooke (Marquis de Lafayette/Thomas Jefferson), Cleve September (John Laurens/Philip Hamilton), Giles Terera (Aaron Burr), Obioma Ugoala (George Washington) and Jamael Westman (Alexander Hamilton). At certain performances, the role of Alexander Hamilton will be played by Ash Hunter. They are joined by Jade Albertsen, Curtis Angus, Johnny Bishop, Courtney-Mae Briggs, Jack Butterworth, Jon-Scott Clark, Kelly Downing, Leslie Garcia Bowman, Lia Given, Gregory Haney, Leah Hill, Barney Hudson, Waylon Jacobs, Miriam-Teak Lee, Aaron Lee Lambert, Phoebe Liberty, Sifiso Mazibuko, Gabriel Mokake, Alexzandra Sarmiento, Marsha Songcome, Christopher Tendai and Lindsey Tierney. Cameron Mackintosh has today announced that previews for the London production of Hamilton will now begin on 6 December rather than the originally announced 21 November 2017. The ofiicial opening night will now take place on 21 December 2017. The delay has been caused by delays to the multi-million pound refurbishment of the Victoria Palace Theatre. Cameron Mackintosh said: “The massive redevelopment in Victoria by Land Securities and Transport For London gave me a once in a hundred years opportunity to expand and restore the Victoria Palace Theatre. It has been an extraordinary undertaking, both thrilling and fraught, not only because of the complexity of putting what is practically a brand new building into the shell of a much loved historical masterpiece, but because it was also the ideal theatre for the most eagerly awaited American musical in decades ‘Hamilton’. After 10 years, Ann Emery has retired from playing the role of Grandma in Billy Elliot The Musical. Ann originated the role of Grandma in the show when it opened in the West End and will now be replaced by Gillian Elisa who alternated the role. Gillian said: “I first joined the cast in 2011 and have loved every moment working on this special show. It’s a real privilege to take this iconic role on full time.” Britishtheatre.com would like to wish Ann a happy retirement.
