Casting Announced For Death Takes A Holiday at Charing Cross Theatre

Producers have announced that Maxwell Caulfield, Zoë Doano and Chris Peluso will lead the cast of Death Takes A Holiday at the Charing Cross Theatre in January 2017. Tickets are now on sale. Based on the 1928 Italian play of the same name, Death Takes A Holiday has a lush, romantic score by multi Tony Award-winning composer and lyricist Maury Yeston, whose musical Titanic launched the current season of musicals at the Charing Cross Theatre. Death Takes A Holiday has a book by multi Tony award-winners Thomas Meehan and Peter Stone. Used as the source material for the film Meet Joe Black which starred Brad Pitt, the musical is a soaring story of the preciousness of life and the overwhelming power of love. As previously announced Thom Southerland’s award-winning production of Titanic will be returning to London for a limited season at the Charing Cross Theatre. In the cast of 20, eight of the originals are back aboard: Scarlett Courtney, Matthew Crowe, Sion Lloyd, Shane McDaid, Philip Rham, Dudley Rogers, Victoria Serra and Judith Street. They are joined by: David Bardsley, Alistair Barron, Helena Blackman, Scott Cripps, James Gant, Luke George, Douglas Hansell, Rob Houchen, Claire Machin, Jessica Paul, Peter Prentice, Dom Simpson.
