Last night Lin-Manuel Miranda and Andrew Lloyd Webber addressed an audience of industry figures, new writers and musical theatre fans to talk about their careers and musical theatre in general. The evening hosted by Paul Taylor Mills at The Other Palace is to be the first of a series of evenings curated by Andrew Lloyd Webber. It’s an eye-opening discussion from a pair of musical theatre geeks who just love everything about what they do. Overall, Whisper House is an interesting experiment, a novel departure from the ‘norms’ of musical theatre. If it doesn’t quite fulfill its ambitions, well, that’s not the worse thing in the world, is it?

Paul Taylor-Mills, Artist Director of The Other Palace has announced that the venue will host The Musical Marathon on Sunday 16 April 2017. This special event will be held in aid of male cancer charity Orchid with all tickets priced at £26 fo for 26 miles, 26 songs and an unmissable night of musical talent. The evening will be hosted by Caroline Flack and will feature performances from Louise Dearman, Tyrone Huntley, Zizi Strallen, Olivier Saville, Liam Doyle, Nathan Amzi, Kim Criswell, Liam Tamne, Christina Modesto, Emma Kingston, Lockie Chapman, Shaun McCourt and Idriss Kargbo.
