The final performance will be at the Princess Theatre, Torquay on 6th May. This spring Godspell In Concert, the legendary rock musical from Stephen Schwartz, the Grammy® and Academy Award®- winning composer of Wicked, returns to the UK’s stages and opens at Hackney’s Empire Theatre on Easter Saturday, April 4th ahead of a 28 venue national tour. The UK tour follows the sell-out success of 2014’s gala performance at Shaftesbury Avenue’s Lyric Theatre, in support of the Make-A-Wish-Foundation®UK. Jennifer Potts (Joseph and the Amazing Technicolour Dreamcoat, Annie) will reprise her role alongside Jason Broderick (Anna Nicole the Opera) who also appeared in the charity performance.
