New Truly And Childcatcher As Chitty Lands in Edinburgh
Music and Lyrics and West Yorkshire Playhouse, producers of the UK National tour of Chitty Chitty Bang Bang, have announced new casting for the roles of Truly Scrumptious and The Childcatcher when the show arrives in Edinburgh this October. Charlotte Wakefield is to play the role of Truly Scrumptious. Charlotte made her West End debut at 18 playing Wendla Bergman in Spring Awakening. Charlotte played Maria in The Sound Of Music at Regent’s Park Open Air Theatre to critical acclaim, and played Laurey in the 2015 UK Tour of Oklahoma, and Sophie in the the West End and International Tour productions of Mamma Mia!.
