Olivier Award winner Rebecca Trehearn (Show Boat, City of Angels) stars in award-winning British song cycle Heart Of Winter as part of Live At Zedel’s programme at Crazy Coqs. Rebecca Trehearn, winner of the 2017 Olivier Award for ‘Best Supporting Actress In A Musical’, stars in the acclaimed song cycle Heart of Winter. The one-woman piece will be performed at Crazy Coqs (Live at Zedel) for two performances: 9th & 15th May at 7pm. Heart of Winter tells the funny, heart-warming and down-to-earth story of Kate, a primary schoolteacher, living up North. Her relationship of five years is over. Producers have announced today that Malcolm Sinclair (Capt. Andy Hawks) and Chris Peluso (Gaylord Ravenal) will join original Sheffield cast members Gina Beck (Magnolia Hawks), Lucy Briers (Parthy Ann Hawks), Rebecca Trehearn (Julia La Verne), Emmanuel Kojo (Joe), Sandra Marvin (Queenie), Alex Young (Ellie May Chipley) and Danny Collins (Frank Schultz) in the West End cast of Show Boat. They are joined by John Coates, Adam Dutton, Kit Esuruoso, Nolan Frederick, Linford Johnson, Javar La’Trail Parker, Kate Milner-Evans, Maria Omakinwa, Ryan Pidgen, Mykal Rand, Leo Roberts, Tosh Wanogho-Maud, Christina Bennington, Victoria Hinde, Linda John-Pierre and Simbi Akande, Georgie Ashford, Laura Darton, Joshua Da Costa, Dale Evans and Tom Partridge. Exactly a year after Dogfight’s acclaimed European premiere season ended at Southwark Playhouse, the original cast and creative team are to reunite for a special concert version of the musical in the main theatre at St James Theatre on Sunday 11 October. Dogfight was showered with praise by the critics and the production was nominated Best Musical and Laura Jane Matthewman named Outstanding Emerging Talent in the Evening Standard Awards. Dogfight also received three Off West End Award nominations including Best Musical, Best Female and Best Male, and it was shortlisted Best Off West End Production in the Whatsonstage Awards.
