Bugsy Malone extends at the Lyric Hammersmith until 5 September

The Lyric Hammersmith announced today the their production of Bugsy Malone would extend its run until Saturday 5th September 2015. Wriiten by Alan Parker and Paul Williams, the production at the Lyric Hammersmith is the first UK production in over a decade and has re-opened the venue following a multi-million pound redevelopment. Bugsy Malone is set in Prohibition era New York with rival gangsters Fat Sam and Dandy Dan at logger heads. As custard pies fly and Dan’s destructive ‘splurge guns’ wreak havoc, Bugsy Malone, a penniless ex-boxer and all round nice guy, falls for Blousey Brown, an aspiring singer.
