Casting Announced For Death Takes A Holiday at Charing Cross Theatre

Producers have announced that Maxwell Caulfield, Zoë Doano and Chris Peluso will lead the cast of Death Takes A Holiday at the Charing Cross Theatre in January 2017. Tickets are now on sale. Based on the 1928 Italian play of the same name, Death Takes A Holiday has a lush, romantic score by multi Tony Award-winning composer and lyricist Maury Yeston, whose musical Titanic launched the current season of musicals at the Charing Cross Theatre. Death Takes A Holiday has a book by multi Tony award-winners Thomas Meehan and Peter Stone. Used as the source material for the film Meet Joe Black which starred Brad Pitt, the musical is a soaring story of the preciousness of life and the overwhelming power of love. Titanic Extends Record Breaking Charing Cross Season

Titanic extends for an additional week at Charing Cross Theatre

Producers have announced that Titanic, the critically acclaimed musical by Maury Yeston and Peter Stone and directed by Thom Southerland, will extend it’s run at the Charing Cross Theatre by one week, now closing on 13 August 2016. The regular midweek matinee that week will move from Wednesday to become a Stagey Matinee on Tuesday 9 August to give other West End performers chance to see it. Additonally, Titanic composer Maury Yeston (Nine, Grand Hotel) is flying in from New York to take part in an after-show Q & A on Tuesday July 26 with Matt Wolf, London theatre critic of The International New York Times and Theatre Editor at The Arts Desk. In the cast of 20, eight of the originals are back aboard: Scarlett Courtney, Matthew Crowe, Sion Lloyd, Shane McDaid, Philip Rham, Dudley Rogers, Victoria Serra and Judith Street.
