Dreamgirls Tickets are now on sale

  The new production of the Tony Award-winning musical will open at London’s Savoy Theatre from 19 November 2016. Inspired by R&B music acts in 1960s America, Dreamgirls transports you to a revolutionary time in American music history. Dreamgirls charts the tumultuous journey of a young female singing trio, from Chicago, Illinois called ‘The Dreams’, as they learn the hard lesson that show business is as tough as it is fabulous, and features the classic songs ‘And I Am Telling You I’m Not Going’, ‘I Am Changing’, ‘Listen’ and ‘One Night Only’ . School Of Rock opens at the Winter Garden Theatre on Broadway

School Of Rock opened on Broadway last night at the Winter Garden Theatre, the first time ever that a Brit has produced and opened an original musical on Broadway. Based on the smash hit 2003 film of the same title, School of Rock features music by Andrew Lloyd Webber and lyricist Glenn Slater and a book by Julian Fellowes. School of Rock – The Musical is directed by Laurence Connor with choreography by JoAnn M. Hunter, set and costume designs by Anna Louizos, lighting design by Natasha Katz, sound design by Mick Potter, music supervision by Ethan Popp and hair design by Josh Marquette. Disney Theatrical has announced that the Tony Award-winning stage musical Aladdin whill begin previews at London’s Prince Edward Theatre from 27 May 2016 with it’s opening night scheduled for Thursday 9 June 2016. Broadway cast member Trevor Dion Nicholas will make his london stage debut as Genie with further casting to be announced. “In 1992, Howard Ashman, Alan Menken and Tim Rice’s reimagining of the Aladdin tale became the biggest movie of the year around the globe.
