Michael Harrison and The Really Useful Group announce that Andrew Lloyd Webber and Tim Rice’s Joseph and the Amazing Technicolor Dreamcoat will be re-imagined in a brand new production at the London Palladium next Summer.
McElderry’s Joseph is extremely likeable and he quite literally blows the roof off the theatre vocally. It’s a performance that is unequalled by any of the many Joseph’s I’ve ever seen.
With an energetic and talented ensemble, the show gives the audience everything they came for, from the much-loved songs to comedy bordering on campness. You get inflatable sheep, singing camels and dancing Egyptians alongside musical pastiches with line-dancing cowboys, gospel choirs, calypso singers and Edith Piaf-style cabaret.
