Stella Gonet to star in Doubt A Parable at Southwark Playhouse

  Stella Gonet will lead the cast in John Patrick Shanley’s acclaimed play Doubt, A Parable when it is revived for the first time in London in ten years. Gonet plays Sister Aloysius Beauvier, school principal and conservative head nun who questions a priests ambiguous relationship with a young troubled student. Stella’s stage and screen experience includes Skylight, Racing Demon and Ophelia in Hamlet opposite Daniel Day Lewis at the National Theatre. She played the lead role in the BBC drama The House Of Elliott and most recently was seen on stage as Mrs Thatcher in the Olivier Award-winning Handbagged.
