Stephen Unwin’s All Our Children, his gripping new play probing one of the darkest episodes in recent history will be presented at Jermyn Street Theatre from 26 April to 3 June 2017. Unwin’s elegant debut work shows a world caught in a spiral of horror and examines a brutal system which sanctioned mass murder for those who led, what the Nazis called ‘lives unworthy of life’.  An astonishing and chilling story of courage, betrayal and humanity, Unwin unfolds a rich dramatic narrative, and explores cultural, moral and social arguments which still rage today. We are pleased to bring you David Ovenden’s great first look production photos released from Stephen Sondheim’s The Frogs, making its UK debut tonight at London’s Jermyn Street Theatre. The latest Broadway version of the rarely performed Sondheim musical, an hilarious send-up of Greek comedy and satire, with a book revised and expanded by Nathan Lane, stars Michael Matus and George Rae. The Frogs, loosely based on a comedy written in 405 BC by Aristophanes, freely adapted for today by Burt Shevelove, and even more freely adapted by Nathan Lane, with Music and Lyrics by Stephen Sondheim, produced by House on the Hill Productions in association with Jermyn Street Theatre and directed by Grace Wessels. A new play to be staged at Jermyn Street Theatre, tells story of the relationship between showbiz icons Marilyn Monroe and Frank Sinatra. The play which has been exhaustively researched, looks at the five weeks in 1955 where the couple lived together. They remained close right up until her death. On the night that Marilyn died, she played nothing but Sinatra albums on her record player. It turns out that the last voice she heard meant a great deal to her. Marilyn & Sinatra stars Erin Gavin (Footballer’s Wives) as Marilyn Monroe and an America’s Got Talent finalist Jeff Bratz as Frank Sinatra. Following it’s acclaimed London season, I Loved Lucy – Lee Tannen’s play based on his personal relationship with comedic superstar Lucille Ball will return to Jermyn Street Theatre for a further three week season. Sandra Dickinson will reprise the role of Lucille Ball for the return run which runs from Wednesday 6 to Saturday 23 April 2016. She will be joined in the production by new co-star Stefan Menaul as Lee. He graduated from Guildhall School of Music & Drama and was in the West End cast of Dirty Dancing. His other credits include Ice Cream and The Ritual of Thwarted Desire at Southwark Playhouse and Off the Cliff at Theatre503. It was announced today Jerry’s Girls will transfer to the Jermyn Street Theatre for a limited three week run from 12 to 31 May 2015. The show was a sell-out smash at the St James Studio ealrier this year. Jerry’s Girl features songs from musicals written by Jerry Herman, the Tony Award-winning composer and lyricist of shows including Hello Dolly!, Mame, Dear World, La Cage Aux Folles and Milk And Honey. The cast of Jerry’s Girls will feature Emma Barton (EastEnders, One Man Two Guvnors, Chicago), Ria Jones ( Cats, Les Miserables, Chess), and Sarah-Louise Young (voted one of Time Out’s Top Cabaret Acts). Originally presented as a small cabaret in New York, Jerry’s Girls was created by Herman and collaborator Larry Alford in 1981.
