Harry Potter Lead Casting Announced

Harry Potter And The Cursed Child cast

The producers of Harry Potter And The Cursed Child have announced that Jamie Parker, Noma Dumezweni and Paul Thornley will take on the roles of Harry, Hermoine and Ron respectively. J.K. Rowling said: “I’m so excited with the choice of casting for Harry Potter and the Cursed Child. I can’t wait to see Jamie, Noma and Paul bring the adult Harry, Hermione and Ron to life on stage next summer.” Harry Potter and the Cursed Child is one play presented in two parts. Both parts are intended to be seen in order on the same day (matinee and evening), or on two consecutive evenings. J K Rowling has announced that the forthcoming West End play Harry Potter And The Cursed Child will be presented in two parts. The stage play by Jack Thorne is based on a new story by J K Rowling, Jack Thorne and John Tiffany and will premiere in Summer 2016 at London’s Palace Theatre. Playwright Jack Thorne said ‘Obviously I loved it when we decided to tell this story in two parts,’ Jack tells us, ‘because I got to spend more time with the characters and what an honour that has been. ‘It continues to be unbelievable and amazing that I’ve been given this extraordinary chance to bring Harry Potter to the stage. Harry Potter And The Cursed Child To Open In The West End in Summer 2016

It has been announced that Harry Potter will come to the West End Stage in Summer 2016 in a new play entitled Harry Potter And The Cursed Child. The play will be based on an original story by J.K Rowling, Jack Thorne and John Tiffany, the play by Jack Thorne will open at the Palace Theatre. Rowling has already stated that the play will not be a Potter prequel. Little else is known about the play but Jack Thorne made the following Twitter comment “Re Harry Potter, can’t say anything, other than playing in jk_rowling‘s sandpit is the greatest honour & the greatest fun”.
