Top Hat Upstairs at the Gatehouse

Ovation Productions are to present the London fringe premiere of Top Hat the musical at Upstairs at the Gatehouse from 13 December 2017 to 28 January 2018. Featuring Irving Berlin’s greatest hits this all singing, all dancing musical features Cheek to Cheek, Let’s Face The Music and Dance, Puttin’ On The Ritz and Top Hat. Top Hat tells the story of Broadway sensation Jerry Travers who dances his way across Europe to win the heart of society girl Dale in a riotous mistaken-identity plot. Top Hat will star Strictly Come Dancing Champion Joanne Clifton as Dale Tremont with further casting to be announced. Top Hat will be directed by John Plews, choreographed by Chris Whittaker, musical supervision by Dan Glover, casting by Debbie O’Brien and Harry Blumenau and produced by Katie Plews. TOP HAT TICKETS

Sheffield Theatres have announced casting for Paul Foster’s new revival of Irving Berlin’s Annie Get Your Gun. Sharp shootin’, smart talkin’ Annie Oakley is a force to be reckoned with. But when she’s pitched against the charming, fiercely competitive Frank Butler, has she finally met her match? Ahead of its first preview on Saturday 8th November, we are delighted to bring you a preview of the rehearsals for Irving Berlin’s White Christmas which has it’s official opening night on Wednesday 12th November. The show features Aled Jones, Tom Chambers, Wendi Peters, Graham Cole, Rachel Stanley and Louise Bowden. Irving Berlin’s White Christmas tells the story of two ex-army pals as they team up with a pair of sisters to put on a show to save their former General’s remote Vermont ski lodge that’s fallen on hard times. Rehearsals for the West End premiere of Irving Berlin’s much-loved musical White Christmas begin today, Monday 13 October. The company is led by Aled Jones as Bob Wallace, Tom Chambers as Phil Davis, Wendi Peters as Martha, Graham Cole as General Waverley, Rachel Stanley as Betty Haynes and Louise Bowden as Judy Haynes, with Lori Haley Fox, Michelle Bishop, Phil Cole, Brendan Cull and Jonathan Halliwell.
