Casting has been announced for concert gala The Best Of Rock Musicals in aid of The Charlie Waller Memorial Trust at the Eventim Hammersmith on 12 May 2019. The Best of Rock Musicals will feature New York’s Adam Pascal (Rent); Europe’s Adrianna Hicks (The Color Purple), Kristina Love (Tina) and David Michael Johnson (Jesus Christ Superstar); and London’s Kerry Ellis (Wicked) together with a host of Broadway and West End talent, the West End Chorus, the City of London Philharmonic AllStars. They will be joined by Judy Kuhn (Fiddler on the Roof), Debbie Kurup(The Bodyguard), Ray Shell (Starlight Express), Sabrina Aloueche (We Will Rock You), Elvie Ellis (The Little Shop of Horrors), Rachel Fabri (The Sound of Music), Charlotte Harwood (Loserville), Rob Houchen (Titanic the Musical), Christian Lund (Phantom of the Opera), Jon Robyns (Hamilton) and Noel Sullivan (We Will Rock You). New images of the cast Of Five Guys Named Moe

Underbelly Productions have today announced full casting for a brand new production of Clarke Peters’ Olivier Award-winning and Tony-Award nominated musical, Five Guys Named Moe. The production will open on 14 September 2017 in a new temporary theatre in Marble Arch, London. Edward Baruwa will play Nomax and the ‘Moes’ will be played by: Ian Carlyle (Four-Eyed Moe), Dex Lee (Know Moe), Idriss Kargbo (Little Moe), Timothy Martin (Big Moe) and Emile Ruddock (Eat Moe). Underbelly have also released the first look at how the inside of the new Marble Arch Theatre will look. Specifically designed for the production will be reminiscent of 1940s New Orleans Jazz clubs, occupying the whole space. Moby Dick the musical is back. The saucy cult hit musical which has not been seen in the UK since 1992, will return to the New Union Theatre from 12 October – 12 November 2016. The musical which was originally produced by Cameron Mackintosh has a book by Robert Longden and music and lyrics by Longden and Hereward Kaye. The anarchic and nubile girls of St. Godley’s Academy for Young Ladies are in trouble! Money for the school has run out and it’s threatened with closure. Determined to save their school from bankruptcy, the resourceful girls, and their unflappable headmistress come up with a plan to keep the school afloat. Using whatever they can find, the girls mount an original production as a fundraiser – a musical version of Herman Melville’s classic novel Moby Dick, featuring their own headmistress in the coveted role of Captain Ahab. Jamie Foreman joins the cast of Mrs Henderson Presents at the Noel Coward Theatre

Eastenders actor Jamie Foreman will play Arthur in the West End transfer of Mrs Henderson Presents opening at the Noel Coward Theatre on 9 February for a strictly limited season. Foreman joins the previously announced Tracie Bennett as Laura Henderson, Ian Bartholomew as Vivian Van Damm and Emma Williams as Maureen. Foreman is best known for playing Derek Branning in EastEnders, but his other credits include Lenny in Birds of a Feather, Bill Sikes in Roman Polanski’s Oliver Twist, Duke in Layer Cake, Gary Oldman’s Nil by Mouth, Elizabeth and Sleepy Hollow. Tracie Bennett is a double Olivier Award-winner for her performances in the musicals She Loves Me and Hairspray. She received huge acclaim all over the world for her portrayal of Judy Garland in End Of The Rainbow, and was Tony Award nominated for her lead role in the production, also directed by Terry Johnson.
