Wicked the musical celebrates 12 years at London’s Apollo Victoria Theatre today and in celebration of this birthday producers have released stunning new principal cast portraits by photographer Darren Bell. Wicked currently stars Alice Fearn (Elphaba), Sophie Evans (Glinda), Bradley Jaden (Fiyero), Melanie La Barrie (Madame Morrible), Andy Hockley (The Wizard), Martin Ball (Doctor Dillamond), Sarah McNicholas (Nessarose), Jack Lansbury (Boq), Laura Pick (Standby for Elphaba) and Carina Gillespie (Standby for Glinda). Wicked has now played 4500 performances, being seen by over 8 million people in London alone. Wicked London has announced its 24th extension with 500,000 new tickets now available for performances until 1 December 2018 at the Apollo Victoria Theatre where it is already the 16th longest running show in West End theatre history. Also joining the cast are Bradley Jaden (Fiyero), Melanie La Barrie (Madame Morrible), Andy Hockley (The Wizard), Jack Lansbury (Boq) and Laura Pick (Standby for Elphaba), joining current cast members Martin Ball (Doctor Dillamond), Sarah McNicholas (Nessarose) and Carina Gillespie (Standby for Glinda). Alice Fearn (Elphaba) originally joined the London production of Wicked in 2016, as Standby for Elphaba, and will now assume the role.
