The atsge adaptation of Peter James' Dead Simple is touring the UK in 2015

Following the nationwide critically acclaimed hit stage production of Peter James’ The Perfect Murder in 2014, the best-selling work of the No.1 novelist has returned to the stage with the adaptation of his most famous 2 million selling book and the first book that featured James’ now-famous character of Detective Roy Grace – Dead Simple. And it’s getting a thrilling response from audiences around the country.

Michael Harrison thinks he has it all; great career, good friends and a beautiful fiancée. But when his stag night prank goes horribly wrong, Michael finds himself alone and staring death in the face. As time runs out and the terror grows, Detective Superintendent Roy Grace tries to solve his mysterious disappearance but begins to fear that Michael will never be found in time.

Olivier Award winner Ian Talbot directs an all-star cast including Tina Hobley who has graced TV screens for the last 12 years as ward sister Chrissie Williams in the BBC 1’s Holby City as well as roles in Coronation Street and Harbour Lights and was seen earlier this year in Celebrity Master Chef. Award-winning TV heartthrob, Jamie Lomas who has starred for the last year in EastEnders as the murderous Jake Stone and before that as bad boy Warren Fox for five years in Hollyoaks. Rik Makarem, best known for starring for four years in Emmerdale as well as Torchwood and who is a previous winner of the prestigious Laurence Olivier Bursary. Michael McKell who starred for three years in Doctors as well as Emmerdale, MIT and on stage in Blood Brothers, Tonight’s the Night and the Olivier-winning Crazy for You. And finally, Gray O’Brien, award-winning star of Coronation Street, Peak Practice and Casualty as well as Sleuth in the West End, who will play the famous Detective Roy Grace in this gripping, chilling, thriller that has all the classic suspense, twists and turns of a best-selling Peter James novel.
