Audra McDonald To Play Limited London Season
Following her sell-out concerts last year, six-time Tony Award winner Audra McDonald will return to London’s West End in April for four concerts at the Leicester Square Theatre in April. Audra will be joined on stage by host and pianist Seth Rudetsky, who last month appeared in and staged the London premiere of his musical Disaster! and husband Will Swenson (the Tony-nominated star of Hair and Priscilla, Queen Of the Desert) will be making a special guest appearance. Audra will be singing some of the biggest hits from her musical theatre repertoire, with some great behind-the-scenes stories from one of Broadway’s biggest stars. There is no doubt in my mind that Disaster! has everything needed to be a success in the West End. Judging from the audience reaction I would have thought it might already be on the cards!
