Everybody’s Talking About Jamie cast go online for One Night Only

One Night Only are re-uniting the cast and creatives for Everybody’s Talking About Jamie on 4th September 2020.

Everybody's Talking About Jamie

On Friday 4th September at 7:30pm (BST) SimG Productions and Musical Theatre Radio’s third ‘One Night Only’ Reunion event will reunite the writers and creatives from the hit British musical ‘Everybody’s Talking About Jamie’, alongside three of the actors to have played the title character.

Panel guests at this unique, virtual, interactive evening will include writers Dan Gillespie Sells and Tom MacRae, director Jonathan Butterell, set/costume designer Anna Fleischle, lighting designer Lucy Carter, plus actors John McCrea (original Sheffield/West End Jamie), Layton Williams (West End / Tour Jamie) and Noah Thomas (current West End Jamie).

‘One Night Only’, hosted by director/producer Simon Greiff, is not a pre-recorded concert or streaming event, but a one-time live discussion experience – focusing on the writing and creating of an original musical and what it takes to bring a new show to the West End stage, and cast members will give an insight into what it’s like to play the leading role of Jamie New. The audience will be encouraged to submit questions for the guests, and may even be invited onto the virtual stage to ask their question in person. The evening will also feature exclusive performances from songwriter Dan Gillespie Sells, finishing with a post-show virtual stage door mix and mingle with the audience.

All profits from the ‘One Night Only’ series will be donated to Acting For Others who provide financial and emotional support to all theatre workers in times of need through the 14 member charities. Guests are subject to change, and if so, probably due to bad ‘WiFi connection’.

‘One Night Only’ is taking the virtual theatrical experience to another level. Imagine a theatre space with tables so you and your friends can sit and talk. Fans of ‘Everybody’s Talking About Jamie’ can jump from table to table meeting other lovers of musical theatre from around the world.
