Major PuPaul’s Drag Race stars announced to star in the Death Drop Back In The Habit Tour
Death Drop Back In The Habit Tour
Following three sold-out West End runs and a smash hit UK tour, Death Drop is back! The drag murder mystery sensation is returning with a brand-new show: Death Drop: Back In The Habit. This laugh-a-minute show will feature some amazing casting: RuPaul USA Drag Legend Willam and RuPaul Drag Race UK and Drag Race Vs The World star Cheryl Hole, and a full drag supporting cast.
Willam and Cheryl Hole will be joined by Drag Race UK stars River Medway and Victoria Sponge. They will also be supported by Drag King LoUis CYfer and a full drag supporting cast.
Willam starred in the original Death Drop production both in the West End in 2021 and the 2021 UK tour. Drag King LoUis CYfer also starred in the original production when it opened in the West End in 2020 and 2021.
Willam said: “I’m excited this West End thing is becoming a habit for me with Death Drop 2: Back In The Habit. Let’s get to bible pumping n humping!”
Cheryl Hole said: “I’m so beyond excited and honoured to be part of the new cast of Death Drop. After seeing so many of my talented friends in the different renditions of the show, I can’t wait to step into the shoes of my peers and show everyone that I’m far from mediocre.”
LoUis CYfer said: “It’s my absolute pleasure to rejoin the cast of Death Drop and once again be the Nasty Nick of the cast … there’s no better feeling than knowing that this year, I’ll have my pick of who I want to pull my Xmas cracker with ….”
Death Drop Back In The Habit sees a gaggle of fabulous Nuns trapped in their Convent with a serial slayer slashing their way through the Sisters. As the clues are unearthed by Sis Marple, you’ll be laughing in the pews as the hilarious, fierce, all-drag killer comedy comes to its thrilling and uproarious conclusion.
As Drag Race UK recently returned to TV and continues to be BBC Three’s most popular non-scripted show, the popularity and fun of drag, combined with our Nations love of a murder mystery remains inescapable. Earlier this year on ITV’s Saturday Night Takeaway Ant & Dec performed at the end of the show in full drag to an audience of 7.4m. Alongside the release of new murder mystery film See How They Run, that remained top of the cinema box office throughout September 2022, the popularity of the art of drag and murder mysteries remain a firm public favourite.
